Eligibility Criteria:
Ø
At
least 50% score in F.Sc with pre-Medical subjects or A Level certification
accompanied by equivalency certificate from the Inter Board Committee of
Chairmen (IBCC)
Ø Passing institute’s Entry test and
interview
Upon
graduation, students will be able to demonstrate responsibility and
accountability to the nursing profession by:
- Adhering
to established patterns of professional practices, which support the
legal, religious, and ethical tenets of Pakistan.
- Incorporate
the nursing process to provide safe, competent, and holistic nursing care
to patients/clients in a variety of setting.
- Utilizing
effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills in their
professional practice.
- Utilizing
scholarly skills and the use of scientific methods in critiquing and
applying existing nursing theories and research findings in practice
setting.
- Utilizing
effective oral and written communication skills in interpersonal and
professional interactions with peers, clients, families and other
professionals.
- Demonstrating
competence in the use of available resources to support the identified
needs of individuals, families, and communities in diverse settings.
- Demonstrating
the ability to coordinate activities related to the provision of health
care for clients in various settings.
- Developing
attitudes and socio-political skills to influence the individuals,
families, and communities to mobilize and allocate available resources to
meet identified health needs.
- Demonstrating
awareness of the existing health care system and its policies as they
affect the patient/client care.
- Developing
leadership skills to promote development of the profession.
Currently Institute
of Nursing is following the structure and sequence of curriculum as recommended
by Higher Education Commission (HEC)/Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC), however
the focus of curriculum has been moved from content based to competency-based,
primarily to prepare its graduates for the provision of competent care which is
aligned with the needs of clients/ population.

Note:
- All the fee and charges shall be subject to revision, as may be determined by the institute and all governing bodies, from time to time.
- All fee and dues of the first semester/year must be paid within 15 days of the grant of admission, otherwise his/her admission will be considered cancelled and seat will be offered to the next candidate on merit list. For subsequent semesters fee and dues if not paid within 15 days of start of semester, a fine of Rs. 100 per day will be imposed. If the student fails to pay his/her fee and dues within 30 days, his/her name will be struck off from the institution.

The Graduate Nurse will:

Integrate
theory and knowledge from the sciences, social sciences, humanities, and
nursing as a foundation for nursing practice

Apply
the nursing process to manage care of individuals, families, and populations
with respect for diversity in a variety of healthcare settings
v
Facilitate
inter-professional and intra-professional communication and collaboration to
improve practice, minimize risks, and optimize health outcomes
v
Critically
analyze research studies and apply evidence-based findings to advance clinical
practice
v
Demonstrate
the inherent professional values and behaviors in the delivery of individual,
families, and population-centered care
v
Participate
in activities that support lifelong learning, professional growth and the
advancement of the profession
v
Integrate
information management and patient care technology to improve quality and
safety across a variety of healthcare settings
v
Apply
the competencies of leadership, quality improvement and patient safety to
improve health outcomes for individuals, families, and populations
